Now when browsing sellers you can quickly glance at the amount of products they have in stock and also what categories are those products spread across. We only just launched Ebay analysis, but we are ready to start analyzing the growth of all sellers in the marketplace. What surprised us is how many of the top sellers are not based in the USA. China and India both look very strong in the list, offering great selection and prices to buyers thousands of miles away. Ebay is still a new marketplace for us, so we are just learning about the intricate details of it - expect much more in the future as we unravel more details.

On February 24, 2016 Best Buy closed its US marketplace business. Best Buy first opened its marketplace in September 2011. There were about 100 marketplace sellers, which altogether contributed to less than 1% of sales.

Without a big announcement Amazon has entered the Fashion business. Ed Yruma, managing director at KeyBanc Capital Markets reported yesterday that Amazon.com has launched over 1,800 different fashion products on its site, under seven different brand names it trademarked. Those brands are Franklin & Freeman, Franklin Tailored, James & Erin, Lark & Ro, North Eleven, Scout + Ro and Society New York.

Since the fourth quarter has most of the key shopping events - Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas shopping - everyone was excited to see how well those companies did.
