Yahoo Shopping is third largest e-commerce marketplace in Japan, after Rakuten and Amazon Japan.
In 2016 Yahoo Shopping generated 454.5 billion yen (4.0 billion US$) in sales, plus an additional 889.7 billion yen (7.83 billion US$) on Yahoo Auctions. In comparison Rakuten generated 3,009.5 billion yen (26 billion US$) in sales.
Last reported quarter 2018 Q3 it was ¥173.50 billion, up by 23% year-over-year from ¥140.70 billion. From ¥454.50 billion in 2016 it increased by 32% to ¥597.90 billion in 2017.
