Fifty percent of Amazon sellers reside in either California, New York, Florida, or Texas. California has more than 200,000 Amazon sellers, followed by New York and Florida with 100,000 each, and Texas with 75,000.

Amazon sellers map in California

California has 21.1% of US-based sellers. Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, and San Bernardino County are the most populous counties in the state; these counties are centered around the cities of Los Angeles, Long Beach, and San Diego.

Los Angeles and San Diego have the best infrastructure and are closest to China - most Amazon sellers are importing from China - and have monthly Amazon seller events with over a thousand registered members.

Los Angeles County, home to the city of Los Angeles and Long Beach, is the county with the most Amazon sellers in the country. Furthermore, 91789 zip code in Walnut, Los Angeles County, is the second most populous zip code in the country.

Amazon sellers map in New York

New York has 10.2% of US-based sellers. Kings County and New York County are home to the most sellers in New York state. Kings County is coterminous with Brooklyn, a New York borough that is home to the 11219 zip code in Borough Park, Brooklyn, the single most populous zip code in the country.

Borough Park is home to one of the largest Orthodox Jewish communities outside Israel; the prospect of building a business on Amazon has led to a boom across the Orthodox Jewish community in New Jersey and New York.

Together with the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach in California, the port of New York/New Jersey makes up the three busiest ports in the country.

Amazon sellers map in Florida

Florida has 10.2% of US-based sellers, and Miami-Dade County and Broward County host the most sellers in the state. The former has the city of Miami, while Fort Lauderdale is in the latter.

Different than California and New York, both of which have some of the busiest foreign import ports in the country, Florida is not a significant import destination, however.

“South Florida FBA - Amazon Sellers,” based in Miami, is the largest monthly Amazon sellers group in the country. Miami is the fourth city with the most sellers in the US.

The map showcases Amazon’s economic impact across the nation, as well as how access to ports and seller communities has created seller hotspots in a dozen locations.
